Rookleys Canadian Art is proud to present Jack Beder: Life and Art in Canada.
This exhibition and book launch, held in collaboration with the Beder estate, features over 60 never-before-seen works from the beloved painter, alongside journal entries, sketchbooks, and photographs from his life.
Jack Beder (1910–1987) rose from his roots in Opatów, Poland to become an important figure in Canadian fine art. Working across multiple subjects and mediums his work depicts landscapes and cityscapes from across the country as well as florals, still lifes, portraits and sculptures.
