"Creating art for me has never been a choice. I was born to create beautiful things."
Robert Buick was born in 1964 in St. Catharines, Ontario. As a child, he attended painting classes and in high school, his passion grew as he enrolled in both art and shop classes. It was at this time in his life in which Robert discovered glass blowing, an art form which he calls magical. He took risks with his artistic works and always thought outside the parameters which he was given. Robert then completed a four year program at Sheridan College in glass sculpture while winning awards for his creations.
