Elizabeth is thrilled to bring her passion for art history and visual analysis to Rookleys Canadian Art. She has spent years studying the ways in which art can represent people and their societies. It is her preferred means to explore the past and delving into Canada’s art history while at Rookleys has been an exciting endeavour.
Elizabeth holds an MA in Theatre Studies from the University of Guelph; a BA in Italian Studies and Medieval and Renaissance Studies from Brock University; and a BA in Dramatic Arts with a minor in French Studies from Brock University. She is also a student in Brock University’s PhD Program in Interdisciplinary Humanities. Her research has focused on using art and artistic patronage to understand historical periods and examine how identities and narratives were constructed and portrayed. She is eager to bring her research and presentation skills to Rookleys to share her love of art with others.
