Andrew Rookley, born and raised in Niagara Falls is a passionate collector and innovator. Affectionately known as Rook, his journey from classroom teacher to art collector is nothing short of inspiring. Extensive travel, a varied background in self-directed learning, along with his enthusiasm for history, penchant for research, and love of Canada is what cleared the course towards collecting Canadian art.

Rook earned his B.A. and B.Ed. from Queen's University at Kingston. During his studies he explored a range of investing models as well as a vast scope of other mathematical permutations. Following his years in Kingston, he took up residence in Toronto where he taught in elementary schools for 14 years. He molded young minds and shared knowledge, leaving an indelible mark on numerous students. But those students also inspired Rook to continue his own learning and pursue his passion for data-informed innovation. It was this appetite for deep research that led to the creation of another advancement in computer programming, which allowed for his return to Niagara and enter the world of collecting Canadian fine art.

Rook’s level of generosity and love of imparting the knowledge and skills accumulated over the years is as extensive as his art anthology of over 1,400 pieces. Rook is your Niagara-based expert and guide of how to make wise and lucrative art investments.
