The tall vertical format gives the composition a cascading quality, as if colour is flowing downward through the surface.
The dominant blues and turquoise passages suggest water, depth or atmosphere, while bright green, red, violet, gold and magenta accents create bursts of energy throughout the work. The gold areas feel almost like fragments of light or metallic leaf, adding warmth and richness against the cooler blue field. A white textured area near the upper centre, with a dotted or mesh-like pattern, gives the painting a tactile, collage-like effect.
