This vibrant floral painting depicts a dense garden of bright red poppies. The stems of the flowers intertwine with one another, creating a curtain of flora. The background is painted in shades of pink, purple and yellow, giving the peace a whimsical feeling. Drum is known for his unapologetic use of colour and technique of expressively layering paint to create cheerful and dynamic landscapes. This piece comes directly to Rookleys from his Crystal Beach studio with inventory #5715 on the reverse.
