Off Day, Ocean Ave, R.I. by Julia Dworak is a 16 x 12 inch acrylic on canvas painting that was produced in 2024 and is signed in the bottom right corner. The piece was inspired by the artist’s trip to Rhode Island, USA and the energy of the ocean. It is done using a series of circles and dashes that come together to create a dynamic landscape. Julia uses a muted colour palette of cool tones to convey the beauty of this coastal scene and the calming effect that it has.
Inspired by indigenous culture and the power of nature, Dworak approaches painting as a meditative experience, drawing energy from the location of each piece.
