Yellow Leaves by Kristina Todd is a 16 x 20 inch acrylic on canvas that was produced in 2024 and is signed in the bottom right corner. The piece depicts a forest of birch trees in autumn, their leaves painted in a joyful yellow. Kristina uses thick layers of paint and dynamic brushstrokes to add texture and depth to the image. The trunks of the birch contrast against the rainbow of colours that surround them.
Kristina’s whimsical style is translated into the work she does as an animator. Her landscapes act as inspiration for those animations.
