Jack Beder’s Folding Mountain, Fiddle River, Jasper National Park (1970) captures the breathtaking landscape of one of Canada’s most iconic national parks. The piece showcases the Folding Mountain rising above the Fiddle River within Jasper National Park, part of the Canadian Rockies in western Alberta. Bright highlights and shadows interplay to show the rocky surface and shifting light on the mountain.
Established in 1907, Jasper National Park is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
