Flock of Geese by Claude Picher (1927-1998) is a 28.5 x 40.75 inch oil on canvas that was produced in 1958. It is signed and dated on the bottom right hand corner by the artist. The piece is painted in a loose and vigorous style using bold brush strokes and a limited colour palette. Grey and navy dominate the composition which depicts an enormous colony of snow geese along the shores of a lake. The white of the geese contrast against the dark and moody landscape.

The piece was on display at the Art Gallery of Hamilton before becoming a part of the Rookleys Canadian Art collection. It is framed by Marcel Custom Frames out of Montreal.

Picher was a major artist in Quebec who was well-known for portraying its countryside, specifically the Gaspésie Region, which he was particularly fond of.
