Rebirth, Pemberton, B.C by Julia Dworak is a 20 x 16 inch acrylic on canvas board that was produced in 2023 and is signed on the bottom right corner. It is done in Dworak’s signature ‘dot art’ style but also uses linework and other geometric shapes to create an almost psychedelic landscape. The composition draws the eye into the piece, down a flowing river into an energetic sunset made up of an intricate array of swirling colours and shapes.
This piece was inspired by Dworak’s first trip to Western Canada which was an incredibly enlightening and awakening experience.
