Summer Fun on Lake Erie by Peter Cheung is a 16 x 20 inch oil on canvas painting produced in 2024 and signed in the bottom left corner. The piece depicts two stand up paddle boarders on the sundrenched shores of Lake Erie. The Point Abino Lighthouse, a historical landmark of the Niagara region, can be seen in the background. Cheung uses a limited colour palette of soft yellows and bright blues and greens to convey a light and cheery scene. The blue sky hangs over the two figures, the reflection from the sun on the water casting light on their smiling faces.
