Crystal Beach Summer by David Drum is a 24.5 x 19 inch mixed media on reverse glass panel produced in 2019 and signed on the back so that it can be hung in any direction. This brightly coloured abstract piece incorporates automotive paint, gold leaf and glitter to give it layers of texture beneath a glass surface. Complimentary shades of red, yellow, blue and green draw the eye around the composition. The iridescence of the piece gives it an added dimension that shifts with the changing perspective.
This piece comes to Rookleys directly from Drum’s Crystal Beach studio and has David Drum Inventory #4955 on the reverse.
