Flooded Trees by David Drum is a 15.5 x 24 inch oil on archival foamcore that was produced in 2024 and is signed on the bottom left corner. This colourful landscape depicts a succession of tall, slender trees, their trunks submerged under a rising layer of water. Drum uses a cheerful palette, dominated by yellow with splashes of pink, red and blue throughout. The combination of colours suggests an early morning, the sun reflecting off the flooded ground and further lighting up the scene.
